Founding design team member, joining Pleo in September 2017 as we entered our first market outside Denmark. Since then, the company has expanded from 2 to 16+ markets, from 1,500 to over 40,000 customers, and has grown from early traction to over €130M in annual recurring revenue — increasing 37% year on year.
I helped establish product–market fit, design the core experience for admins and finance teams, and scale both the product and the design team from 2 designers to 40+ as Pleo grew from seed stage to unicorn.
Today, I help shape how we work as a team and build the foundations that enable our web and mobile platforms to scale without losing their simplicity, consistency, and ease of use. I design systems that support both designers and engineers, strengthen the product–brand relation, and steward the core product experience.
